Lockdown, the overlapped city

Aprile 2020 - Milan during the lockdown

A half-empty Milan: it's the city I shot on an unconsciously used film roll and I obtained double exposures. When I discovered it I was mainly angry at myself for my distraction: I thought I've had captured a unique moment in the history of the city. But I observed better and better these pictures and they had a new meaning to me: the past and the unknown present.

This double exposure reminds me how much humans are powerless in front of Nature: it's able to take back whatever had given us until now.
